About the Company
Founded in 2006 as a result of the entrepreneurial spirit of its current president, Professor Pedro Pacheco, BERD was born in order to commercially exploit the Organic Prestressing System (OPS) advantages developed by the OPS Group of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Oporto (FEUP).
Based in the northern Portuguese town of
Matosinhos, BERD began its process of internationalization in 2007 and is currently operating in countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, the United States, Russia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela, among others.
