BRAINR is an AI-powered cloud-native Manufacturing Execution System (MES/MOM) built exclusively for the food and beverage industry, the 3rd least digitized industry worldwide according to the World Economic Forum.
The platform digitizes food factory operations end-to-end, covering production planning (APS), shop floor execution (MES),
warehouse management (WMS), quality control (QMS), slaughter management, and full traceability. It replaces paper, Excel and disconnected systems with a unified real-time operational environment.
Spun out of Grupo Lusiaves, one of Europe's largest vertically integrated poultry groups, after a 3-year internal development (2019 to 2023), BRAINR launched to market in late 2023. In September 2025 the company raised €11M in a Seed Round led by C2 Capital Partners, confirmed as the largest seed round in Portugal's history.
BRAINR currently manages over 30% of all meat production in Portugal and over €1 billion in annual food production, with deployments across Europe and Africa. Customers report 92% reduction in manual data entry, 21% improvement in operational efficiency, and 100% digitized operations in under 3 months.
