The Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formally the Broward
Community College, offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees and
certificate programs that specialize in, but are not limited to, the
Health Sciences and Continuing Education programs.
Student life at Broward is fun and enjoyable. Students may join one of
the many academic
or social clubs or attend cultural and leisure events
to get a break from studies.
The Buehler Planetarium is available to all students, whether you want to
investigate space academically or for personal interest.
Many concerts and plays are hosted at Bailey Hall and The Omni, while
many student and professional art, painting and photographic exhibits are
showcased in the school gallery. The BC Museum Collection is also
available to students, which offers an outstanding collection of African
and Asian art, fossils, gems, minerals and other specialties.
Academics include associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in science, applied
sciences, arts and nursing. The school also offers career certificates
for immediate employment, available in Accounting Applications, Network
Technology, Office Support and many more.
Admissions are open. Any student who has earned a high school diploma or
GED may apply for enrollment on the Broward College admissions website.
Tuition varies depending on the program.
Financial aid is available to eligible students who have filed a FAFSA
through the form of grants, student loans, scholarships and work study
programs.
