Company Performance Metrics
Clink enables any WiFi enabled venue to become its own social network, allowing InHouse crowds to connect with each other and the venue with them.
Clink was founded in April 2012 by Scott Horn. It was an idea that sat in Scott's mind for over a year before becoming a pen on paper idea. Scott thought of the idea for Clink whilst running a
nightclub. His original idea was for a new way to connect to people but new people in any location no matter where you are. Foursquare pathed the way for CheckIn but gave no point for doing it. Clink gives that CheckIn a point with personalized advertising based on personal preferences and ability to communicate with any one in the venue.
Clink was a series of discussions over 2 months and presented to Richard Abel, Managing Director and brain behind M9ING.IT and mining consultancy company that Richard built from scratch in Sweden. Contracts were signed on both parts and development began almost immediately.
Richard extracted the ideas for Clink from Scott's mind and version 1 of the application was released on Android. Whilst the application was being finalized contracts were being signed with Nightclubs around the country based purely on the idea ensuring the determination to release Clink to the world. Once the Clink app was released to Android Clink launched in its first nightclub, Deniros nightclub in Suffolk. Since then the Clink team have persevered and are now finalizing to submit to the Apple quality control team and release on IOS.
