A historically black institution, Clinton Junior College is rather unusual for a two-year school. The school has a rich history spanning more than 115 years, and unlike many junior colleges, it’s private. Moreover, the school emphasizes the liberal arts rather than professional studies.

These programs, all of which are grounded in the liberal arts, will give you the practical experience you need for the workforce and the educational background for further study. Clinton Junior College offers several sources of financial aid. HBCU Minority Student Scholarships, NCAA Scholarships, and the United Negro College fund are available for African American students. The school also funds institutional merit scholarships, as well as a variety of endowed minority scholarships. Student life at Clinton Junior College features a variety of clubs, organizations, and athletic teams.
