Cosito is a voice-first operational data capture platform that enables frontline workers in manufacturing, food production, produce distribution, and industrial operations to log quality checks, inventory counts, maintenance events, and compliance records hands-free — by speaking naturally, in real time. The problem Cosito solves goes beyond
paperless forms. In most industrial facilities, data travels through multiple touchpoints before reaching a system of record: a scrap of paper, a formal log, one or two Excel sheets, and finally a manual transcription into the ERP. Each handoff introduces delay, errors, and lost information. Existing enterprise software — SAP, Oracle, MES systems — is designed for desk workers, not operators. In high-attrition, high-rotation environments, training workers on complex interfaces is economically unsustainable. Cosito collapses the entire data chain into a single voice interaction: workers speak, Cosito structures the data and syncs it to the system of record in real time. The platform requires no dedicated hardware — it runs on any smartphone — and deploys in days, not months. It supports English and Spanish, integrates with ERP and SAP via API, and includes a no-code form builder that operations teams configure without engineering support. Customers include a paper and cardboard manufacturer in Ecuador, a produce distribution center in Texas, and a food production facility in New York. Cosito was founded in 2024 by Andrea Patricia Diaz Baquero, an MIT graduate and former SAP and AWS executive. The company is headquartered in the United States, operates across North America and Latin America, and is backed by Techstars and JP Morgan.
