K-12 StaySafe™ an alerting system to allow classroom teachers immediate emergency “panic button” access to administration and local police. The Campus StaySafe mobile app empowers students to send a one-button emergency alert message including their GPS location directly to campus security for immediate response. Additional features include one-button voice calling to campus security and campus escorts; automated call-back, “tip” feature to report illegal or unsafe situations; and links to safety and transportation resources. Campus StaySafe has been deployed by The University of California, Berkeley and Whitman College with additional schools evaluating it for future deployment.
