ENTvantage Diagnostics is a medical diagnostics company that develops and markets in-office diagnostic tests that provide primary care and ENT physicians with timely information on the causes of ear, nose, and throat illnesses. Its diagnostic test kit can qualitatively identify the three major bacterial sinusitis pathogens and provide
differentiation from viral sinusitis infections that enables physicians to only prescribe antibiotic treatment for patients who have bacterial sinusitis, reducing unnecessary prescription of antibiotics.
Its products include Sinu-Now Collection Device that allows physicians and nurses to collect mucus samples from the middle meatus region of the sinus; and BacDtect-3 Assay that allows physicians to test sinusitis patients to determine if the patients’ symptoms are caused by bacterial pathogens and or the more common viral cause.
ENTvantage Diagnostics was founded in 2014 and is based in Austin, Texas.
