Company Performance Metrics
At ERC, the critical time-cost challenge in patient transportation is being addressed. Every year, 82 million patients in Europe and the US require immediate hospital transportation. In medicine, every second counts, yet less than 2% of these patients receive the fastest transport option: helicopters. The reason lies in the cost—helicopters are 46
times more expensive than ambulances. ERC is committed to solving this time-cost dilemma. The company has developed an electric VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft that transports patients three times faster than ambulances and at one-third the cost of a helicopter. This innovative aircraft significantly reduces maintenance and energy expenses. Rather than replacing helicopters, ERC introduces a new, affordable, and efficient transportation option in the medical field, with the aim of saving more lives each year.
