Fastrip distinguishes itself from other convenience stores by offering commitments to customers. other grocery item (sugar, flour, salt, etc), they can find it stocked at Fastrip at a reasonable price. Rather than going to the supermarket and parking and walking for 15-20 minutes to get milk and eggs, their customers come to Fastrip and are out within two minutes. They are a convenient mini supermarket. The company saves their customers money and time. Founded in 1968, Fastrip began as a small dairy store in Bakersfield, CA. Initially, they sold only dairy products and limited grocery items. Their grocery selection expanded within a few years, as well as their gas options. After their first success, they expanded, bringing their concept of great selection, value, and customer service to Bakersfield as well. The company has expanded throughout California after growing in Bakersfield and Kern County. As a company, they always sought markets that were underserved and where they could offer added value. Today, they operate 53 stores in California and Arizona, all of which offer 24-hour convenience.
