Firecracker Marketing is a social media and marketing agency focused on bringing hospitality brands to life with authentic storytelling, strategic marketing, and engaging activations. Firecracker focuses heavily on employee and client retention (which go hand-in-hand), fostering a culture of ingenuity, inclusivity & enthusiasm, and capturing
the true nature of a brand’s ethos digitally. We prioritize the happiness of our team at Firecracker, and are actively trying to combat “girl boss” hustle culture.
Firecracker is fully remote, which eliminates overhead, and scales based on employee-to-client ratios, planning hiring based on projections instead of current revenue. They focus on ensuring their employees feel empowered to be their best both in and outside of the workplace, offering a healthy workload and work-life balance, and encouraging their team to bring new ideas to the table + push back on clients when necessary, no matter their role or experience level. Employees receive technology stipends, monthly mental health days, unlimited PTO (and required PTO, because sometimes their employees forget to use it!), new business bonuses, client retention bonuses, a robust parental/family leave policy, mentorship programs and more. Firecracker also focuses on salary equity, setting transparent “bands” of salary for each role to ensure team members are paid fairly regardless of their ability to negotiate.
