It all officially started in 2014 when the founder, Stephanie Skov, came up with the first ideas to combine the two worlds; the classic European lifestyle for home decoration and the technical and gamer focused world. But before all this, what really led to the thoughts and the passion for wall mount solutions was the frustration of not being able
to find the right spot for her boyfriend’s PlayStation 3.
In 2012 Stephanie moved together with her boyfriend and he brought with him his beloved PlayStation. As the apartment in Copenhagen was small there was not much space. The issue of finding the perfect spot for the console became a daily challenge for Stephanie. In the summer of 2013, her boyfriend, Philip Friis Larsen, had just announced the news about the release of the new PlayStation 4 in 2014. Now the challenge became a reality.
Nine months later, after lots of field research, the first wall mount for FLOATING GRIP® was developed. While trying to combine the modern lifestyle with gaming Stephanie came up with the system for the wall mounts which is today patent pending.
