Freight Shuttle Xpress works to address the lack of a system that can handle enormous volumes of traffic in the transportation industry. It was started at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute with the aim of identifying a low-emissions freight transportation alternative and reducing truck-related traffic congestion in heavy freight corridors.
