Founded in 1999, G&A was established as a firm focused primarily on exhibit design. As a direct response to the future of the industry, G&A intentionally grew to
serve clients’ shifting needs and deliver a comprehensive approach to the planning, design, and execution of visitor experiences. Today, as one of the only fully integrated experience design firms, our work is driven by strategic business and operational planning as well as the seamless integration of digital and physical. We take pride in the long-lasting partnerships we have cultivated with our clients and partners, developing plans and visions that allow for long-term success and sustainability. The firm is extremely well-versed in communicating with large, complex teams of consultants, engineers, and architects, and collaborating on experience and facility design, structure and site challenges, circulation patterns, and interpretation.
Our portfolio ranges in subject and type from social and natural sciences to cultural history and the arts, sports, and music. We work globally, through our staff in Washington, D.C.; New York, NY; and Portland, OR. Our teams have delivered over 700 projects—including renovations, additions, and exhibit refresh projects, as well as ground-up, new museum experiences.
