GE Philippines Meter & Instrument Co., Inc. (GEPMICI) is a joint venture with power utility giant, Manila Electric Company (Meralco). The business serves the Philippine and Japan markets for ANSI (American National Standards Institute)-type watt hour meters. GE is 65% equity owner of the business.
GE Lighting Philippines Inc. opened the
Lighting Solutions Center on February 2012. 60,000 USD was spent to renovate and upgrade the previous facility with wireless lighting controls using lighting applications from an iPad. The Lighting Solutions Center is a showroom for various GE Lighting products across different verticals – Hospitality, Retail (food and non-food), Office/Commercial, Roadway, and Outdoors, including LED solutions for park, area light, signage and perimeter lighting. Over 300 distributors, end users, retailers, promoters, contractors, architects, and lighting designers have visited the Lighting Solutions Center since its opening, and have participated in various presentations, tour demos, launches, meetings, trainings, and other events.
