There are now mobile apps for seemingly every service imaginable. There are apps for rides, food delivery, package delivery, errands, laundry service, home repair, home decorating, house cleaning, yard care, pool care, car care, babysitting, tutoring, music lessons, coaching, party planning, massage, hair and nails, fitness, pet grooming, pet sitting, dog walking, guided tours, and moving. This is known as the gig economy as the engagement is typically short.
Helpp operates in a subspace of the gig economy known as the local on-demand economy where the service providers physically interact with their customers.
