Company Performance Metrics
The Inner Temple is an unincorporated membership association that functions as an Inn with a global membership that adopts a progressive stance towards enhancing and advocating for the rule of law and fostering a diverse legal community. Its primary roles include providing chambers for barristers and their clerks, offering education and training
for both aspiring and qualified barristers, and supplying shared facilities for barristers and students. These facilities encompass a library, meeting and lecture rooms, dining areas, parking, and notably, the Inner Temple garden and the Temple Church. The combination of chambers and associated communal facilities, along with the activities conducted within them, cultivates a strong collegiate atmosphere. At its core, the Inn has always been dedicated to the education and training of both aspiring and qualified barristers. Recently, this educational focus has been amplified with the completion of Project Pegasus, which aimed to establish a modern education and training center for the Bar. This development has enabled the Inns of Court College of Advocacy to conduct its Bar course at the Inner Temple. Consequently, in addition to the extensive educational and training initiatives undertaken by its members in recent years, approximately 150 Bar students from all Inns of Court and various parts of the globe now come to the Inner Temple to participate in the ICCA Bar course. The Inn envisions its role within the Justice Quarter of the City, particularly to the proposed City of London Law Courts and the Salisbury Square development.
