Kingston is a technology company that designs and manufactures memory and flash products for servers, desktops, notebooks, workstations, printers, personal digital assistants, hand-held PCs, graphic cards, digital cameras, and mobile phones. It serves as an international network of distributors, resellers, retailers, online retailers, and OEM
customers.
It offers a range of products: SD cards, memory cards, memory modules, solid-state drives, and USB flash drives; datatraveler USB drives, such as personal, encrypted secure, and Windows to go drives; flash cards, including photo and video SD cards, microSD cards, high-end photo cards, and card readers; and wireless drives and readers. Other than the above products, Kingston also provides contract manufacturing and supply chain management services for semiconductor manufacturers and system OEMs; and technical support, warranty and return, and customer services.
Kingston has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994. It manufacturers system-specific customized memory to meet the memory requirements of the computer system for which the module is designed.
Kingston was founded in 1987 and is based in Fountain Valley, California with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Taiwan, and China. Its additional offices are situated in Sydney, Australia; Paris, France; Munich, Germany; Beijing, China; and Mexico City, Mexico.
