Lucky Corridor is soliciting interest in 200MW of unallocated transmission capacity being developed to link electric energy resources in Union and Colfax Counties, and potentially in other energy-rich regions of northern and northeastern New Mexico, with western load centers via new transmission facilities that will be built from a point near a new
Springer, New Mexico Substation to the terminus of an existing Four Corners export line, now to serve as an import line. Transmission rates will be cost-based, and the anticipated in-service date is December 31, 2024.
The Project will consist of a 345 kV, single-circuit, AC line, but maybe upgraded, if there is sufficient interest. The Project already has two anchor customer wind farm projects, subject to regulatory approval.
