About the Company
Monroe Local School District was formed in 2000 after splitting from Middletown City Schools. The Butler County school district is almost entirely contained within its boundaries. The district's elementary, junior high school, and high school students in grades 2-12 attend school on Yankee Road. Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders
attend Monroe Primary School on Macready Avenue. The Monroe Schools were founded in 2000, when there were 1,500 students enrolled. Currently, there are about 2,750 students enrolled in the district.
