licence with the Royal Military Academy for the exploitation of the patent relating to energetic nanomaterials based on nanoporous carbon and filed a new patent on advanced surface treatment applied to composite propellants and high explosives with the Materia Nova innovation center. NanoPyro carries out research and production activities in Belgium, initially on the premises of the Royal Military Academy on the basis of a service contract, but very soon on its own premises, and has demonstrated its ability to innovate and develop prototypes of energetic materials. NanoPyro has received many positive expressions of interest in its technology from several European defence industry players and intends to commercialise its solution in the short term.
