Nasoni is a HealthTech company building privacy-first behavioral health infrastructure for early detection of functional and cognitive decline. Backed by over $5 million in non-dilutive funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA), NICHD, and Virginia’s VIPC, the company is advancing a new standard for continuous functional monitoring in
aging and neurodegenerative care.
Nasoni’s core platform, Sense™, uses passive mmWave radar and machine learning to measure Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) without cameras or wearables. The system generates the proprietary Healthy Habits Index™ (HHI) — a standardized 0–100 behavioral health score designed to function as a digital biomarker of functional drift.
The platform is currently undergoing NIH-funded, IRB-approved clinical validation with partners including Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and Carilion Clinic. Initial clinical applications focus on Alzheimer’s-related functional decline and proactive risk detection in aging populations.
Designed for privacy, regulatory alignment, and interoperability, Nasoni’s infrastructure is built to integrate with clinical workflows, payer systems, and enterprise health platforms, including reimbursement pathways such as CPT and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM).
