Norwich University, a small New England college located in Northfield, Vermont, is the home of the ROTC and offers the full range of academic and professional programs to cadets and others.
The ROTC program, which trains cadets, is one of Norwich’s more noteworthy academic offerings. However, non-cadets also attend to take advantage of
undergraduate liberal arts and science degrees as well as professional majors in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, Pre-Law and Pre-Medicine.
Graduate degrees at Norwich are delivered through online study. Online master’s degrees are awarded in such fields as Diplomacy, Education, Military History, Civil Engineering, Public Administration and Nursing.
Based in the experiential learning model, Norwich’s curriculum uses a combination of experiential and theoretical techniques, a highly effective strategy for long-term integration of knowledge.
Since it is an ROTC-friendly school, there are several benefits financially and otherwise for current and former military.
Other financial aid options include loans, grants and scholarships for those who qualify.
Applicants will need to submit an application, a personal statement, a transcript, and test scores to the admissions department. Letters of recommendation are also strongly suggested.
