Company Performance Metrics
SightBit is an AI-powered water safety and management platform that analyzes live video feeds from waterfront cameras to detect and alert on risks and hazards in real time. The system requires no special hardware - it interfaces with any standard off-the-shelf camera, making deployment fast and accessible across beaches, pools, ports, and all water
environments. SightBit was founded in 2019 by Netanel Eliav (https://www.linkedin.com/in/inetanel) and Adam Bismut (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-bismut).
As CEO and CTO for the first three years of the company, Netanel led SightBit through its most defining chapter, architecting the core AI technology, establishing the brand on a global stage, and securing both private fundraising and strategic backing from the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA). Under his leadership, the platform achieved state-of-the-art performance in real-time water hazard detection, gained international recognition as a leader in waterfront safety, and expanded into specialized aerial and over-water analysis in collaboration with the IDF.
In late 2022, Adam Bismut, who had served as COO since founding, stepped into the CEO role, carrying the company's mission forward with a focus on broader impact. Under his leadership, SightBit successfully raised approximately $1M through a crowdfunding campaign, bringing the technology to a wider global community.
At its core, SightBit exists for one reason: to save lives. By combining artificial intelligence with advanced algorithms and real-time video analysis, the company is committed to making every waterfront safer, for swimmers, communities, and responders around the world.
