wholly-owned subsidiaries MiningSky Container Ltd., MiningSky USA Inc., and MiningSky Manitoba. The company also has a 50 percent owned subsidiary Skyrendering Technologies Inc. Through its subsidiary, MiningSky Technology LTD, the company provides cryptocurrency mining hosting services and sells power distribution equipment.
The company was founded in 1977 as Green Valley Mine.
In September 2018, the company changed its name to SkyChain Technologies Inc.
In July 2021, it signed an agreement with Synergy Global Consulting Corp and 1283230 B.C. Ltd to form a joint-venture named Skyrendering Technologies Inc. which will provide premier visual effects (VFX) rendering services to the film and entertainment industry. They also formed a joint-venture with The Embassy Visual Effects Inc to further develop Skyrendering Technologies capabilities in rendering visual effects services. In the same month, the company also formed a new joint-venture named Miningsky Container Ltd and acquired a real estate property in Manitoba which will be used as a crypto hosting facility.
In May 2021, the company got listed on the OTCQB Venture Marketplace.
In October 2021, an agreement was signed with Sunset Solar Inc. to secure land and power in Alberta.
