different to other eVTOL aircraft available, in that it does not have tilting motor mechanisms, but instead has fixed angle rotors which are stronger, and crucially much lighter. The Axe furthermore has four wings which create lift in forward flight giving a uniquely low 30kW energy use compared to other 2-seat eVTOL designs which have a 140kW or greater energy use – giving a useable long range, using existing battery technology.
