The FHAB™ platform utilizes a
fully human single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) that binds to and “hitch-hikes” on human serum albumin (HSA) for transport to target tissues.
Sonnet’s FHAB construct attaches to albumin in the bloodstream, which significantly enhances the pharmacokinetics of the active drug substance. It also naturally accumulates at inflammation sites, including tumors, thereby potentiating delivery to target tissues. The Sonnet platform is differentiated in that FHAB utilizes a fully human sequence, with a human glycosylation profile that can be manufactured using a standard CHO process.
