Glebe Centre has been the cornerstone of elderly care in Glebe and the surrounding area of Ottawa for over 130 years. In 1886, the Glebe Centre became Ontario's first home for the aged. Since then, it has continued to provide services, facility-based care, and personal support to seniors. They are a not-for-profit organization offering not
only programs but also services that are of the highest quality. Their program accreditations include CARF and ABRC. In order to facilitate and encourage maximum independence, programs and services are designed to meet the individual's physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
