The Pocket Couch was born out of the need to address the difficulty in finding, paying for and accessing counselling services. The World Health Organization asserts that at least 25% of people will struggle with mental health challenges in their lifetime, yet only 75% of those people will never get the help they need. We want to create a world
where everyone has a better chance of getting the help they need, when they need it wherever they may need it. The Pocket Couch is by no means a replacement for face to face therapy and other mental healthcare help but rather a space to be used in conjunction with what is available to help. Whether you or someone you know are struggling with self-confidence or finding it more difficult to get out of bed with each passing day, The Pocket Couch was designed to be an easy to use, non-judgemental and affordable space for you to get the help you may need. This space was created for you, by you.
