About the Company
Three Oaks Carbon is a startup voluntary carbon offset project developer that uses the City Forest Credit (ICROA-accredited) methodology for urban forest preservation in the United States. We work with private landowners to preserve their small-acreage forests (15-500 acres) near urban areas at high risk of deforestation due to urban sprawl.
We
envision an ecosystem supporting small landowners in accessing capital, maintaining property ownership within the community, and preserving natural land from deforestation and encroachment by urban sprawl. In our efforts, we aim to promote a harmonious relationship between urbanization and nature, while encouraging communities that live in these evolving landscapes.
