Ubudu is a French technology company that develops and markets a hybrid and end-to-end Real-Time Location System (RTLS) used by factories, hospitals and restaurants to improve their operational performance. Ubudu hybrid RTLS provides features such as indoor positioning, geofencing and flow analytics enabled through different technical architectures
in order to address any need in any sector in the most adapted way.
For example, Ubudu customers in the manufacturing industry generally see a 50-70% reduction in the time spent searching for tools, equipment and parts / work orders, and use analytical dashboards to optimize their intra-logistics flows.
Hybrid and complete, Ubudu RTLS uses active RF tags that communicate in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and/or UltrawideBand (UWB) and/or LoRa and/or Wi-Fi, which allows a flexible positioning with precision ranging from 0.3m to a few meters indoor and outdoor.
More recently, Ubudu has launched two new solutions based on UWB and BLE to help improve safety at the workplace:
- Ubudu Social Distancing Assistant to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 in the workforce
- Ubudu Safety Zone to prevent accidents between machines and pedestrians as well as control better access to hazardous areas
Deployed in more than 5,000 sites in 30 countries, Ubudu RTLS saves more than 15,000 hours of work every day for its customers such as Schneider Electric, Heuliez, Alcatel Submarine Networks, McDonald’s, Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital…
