About the Company
Based in Indianapolis, USA Gymnastics (USAG) is the national governing body for gymnastics in the United States, overseeing six disciplines: acrobatic, artistic, gymnastics for all, parkour, rhythmic, and trampoline and tumbling.
Established by the Ted Stevens Amateur Sports Act of 1978, USA Gymnastics is the only organization recognized by the
U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the International Gymnastics Federation. This means USAG is solely responsible for overseeing the sport from grass roots through elite, including the U.S. teams for the Olympic Games, World Championships, and other top-tier international events.
