Vesselon is developing novel therapeutic immuno-oncology complexes that are protected in circulation and actively targeted to tumors using an FDA approved lipid microsphere drug as the backbone of its encapsulated drug/drug platform technology. Furthermore, the complexes are formed at the time of administration (rather than at the drug
manufacturing stage) enabling the creation of new complexes from already approved therapeutics.
The company is developing a next-generation, multi-targeted encapsulated oncolytic virus complex that has been shown in preclinical models to be effective at low titers across a wide range of tumors. Also, the company is developing an encapsulated recombinant interleukin-2 complex targeting clinically relevant dosages to solid tumors with systemic exposure far below that which could cause adverse events. Vesselon’s proprietary complexes can be applied across a spectrum of cancers and other serious diseases in a variety of drug classes.
