Founded in 2005, Vimo set out to make online health insurance enrollment as simple as possible for all Americans. After the passage of the Affordable Care Act revolutionized the health care industry, Vimo launched a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for states that opted to run their own exchanges. Along the way, Vimo earned the backing of two
of the nation’s most respected venture capital firms – Bessemer Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures, the same investors behind Skype, LinkedIn, Starbucks, Target, Pinterest and more. Today, doing business as GetInsured (getinsured.com), Vimo is the leading technology provider of state-based marketplaces, and its roster of clients includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Nevada, California, Minnesota, Idaho, Washington, Virginia, and Georgia. Through the acquisition of the Change & Innovation Agency ((C!A®) changeagents.info), Vimo has expanded its footprint into the public benefits sector, optimizing government employee productivity and maximizing staff and the agencies’ capacity. Our innovative approaches and technology solutions have transformed how government agencies in over half of the states in the nation and several large counties deliver vital safety net program benefits to children and families in need. Most recently, Vimo has applied its proven health insurance exchange technology to offer state child care agencies a customer-centric system, to more effectively administer programs, engage providers, and increase access to child care for families.
