WeGro is an agri-fintech that facilitates farmers with access to finance, inputs and markets.
Almost 10 Million farmers across the country do not have access to finance. With hopes of addressing this problem, WeGro provides investment and guidance to smallholder farmers who are otherwise unable to access formal financing elsewhere. The financing
is forwarded to the farmers in the form of quality inputs. Moreover, farmers can also avail access to market. All of the projects are insured, monitored, scrutinized. Once the harvest is available, we sell to our partner merchants (Chaldal, Parmeeda, Apon Wellbeing, Khaas Food Limited, etc.), thus ensuring fair prices for the farmers.
Our profit sharing model ensures that the farmers and the financiers receive a share of the profit both incentivized for the effort and compliance to religious standards respectively.
