About the Company
Whitehaven is Australia’s largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in North West New South Wales.
They operate five mines in North West NSW; four open cut mines at Maules Creek, Werris Creek, Tarrawonga and Rocglen, and one underground mine at Narrabri. These sites produce thermal and metallurgical coal bound primarily for
export markets in North and South Asia.
