Adnan Asar is the president and CEO of Lucid Lane and an advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck. Prior to that, he served as the CTO of Livongo Health, where he is responsible for product development and technology. Before joining Livongo, Adnan was the VP and head of technology at Shutterfly Inc. responsible for all technology and product development across
a large portfolio of product lines and brands. In that role, Adnan led a team that built one of the world's largest photo storage cloud management solutions storing more than 20B consumer assets and user-generated data, personalization through advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms and one of the largest e-commerce platform solutions, engaging web and mobile experiences generating close to $1B in revenues.
Prior to joining Shutterfly Adnan was VP and head of technology at Tiny Prints, where he grew the team into a high performing technology organization that built a premiere e-commerce stationery product, leading to its acquisition by Shutterfly. Prior to Tiny Prints, Adnan served as a Senior Director at Yahoo! where he managed the Social & Community Platform development teams serving multiple Yahoo! properties. Prior to Yahoo!, he held senior positions at Oracle and was one of the founding engineers at Keynote Systems, where he helped transform the company into a worldwide leader in Internet Performance Management that leads to a successful IPO.
Adnan earned his Master of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
