Al graduated with two bachelor degrees from the University of California, Davis in Computer Science and Chemical Engineering. She has experience as a software engineer at Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and Zillow. She was a project manager for Engineers Without Borders for a project in Bolivia to provide sanitation infrastructure to three villages with over 200 people.
