Alan has had 25+ years of trading and distribution experience in various roles at both UBS Securities, LLC and PaineWebber prior to their merger. His breadth of experience includes Government and GSE trading, Syndicate Structuring, Fixed Income risk management, sales and marketing, electronic trading development and portfolio structuring. He played
a key role in the development of the UBS/PW Fixed Income distribution business as both a risk and trading manager that has ultimately developed into a nearly quarter billion dollar annual fixture. His efforts have helped UBS achieve multiple Global Top 3 GSE rankings during the last decade. He continues to maintain an industry wide wholesale network that serves as a beneficial collaborative partner. Mr. Mele is responsible for the firm's syndicate operation as well as co-managing Fixed Income. Alan holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from New York University.
