ALBERTO WEISSER served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bunge Limited, a global food, commodity and agribusiness company, from 1999 until June 2013 and as Executive Chairman until December 2013.
Weisser previously served as Bunge’s Chief Financial Officer from 1993 to 1999. Previously, Weisser worked at BASF Group in various
finance-related positions. Weisser is a board member of the Council of the Americas and a member of the Latin America Conservation Council, and served as a director of International Paper Company until 2012.
He has served since 2015 as a Senior Advisor at Lazard Ltd, a financial advisory and asset management firm, where he advises Lazard’s Financial Advisory business regarding global agribusiness and related sectors.
