Allison Rosenberg, Ph.D., was the founder and CEO of posed2, Inc., a mobile platform that helps young people surface their career dreams using game play and predictive analytics. Dr. Rosenberg previously served as Director of Academic Outreach, Worldwide, at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. Prior to that position, she was Assistant
Vice President and Director of Federal Relations in Iowa State University’s Washington, D.C. office; Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, Federal Affairs, at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; and Director of Research Policy and Development at the University of California, Office of the President. Dr. Rosenberg also held positions at the U.S. Department of Commerce; the National Academies Complex (the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering and the Institute of Medicine); and the United States Senate Appropriations Committee.
Dr. Rosenberg received her A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society and graduated with highest honors, and her Ph.D. from Harvard University, with the support of the G. and C. Naumberg Fellowship. She has been a Principal of the Council on Excellence in Government; a Fellow of the Sigma Xi Association; and a prior National Finalist for the President’s White House Fellowship. She was a member of the 71st class of the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference, the oldest civilian outreach program of the Department of Defense. Dr. Rosenberg has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and monographs, and she served previously as guest editor of special issues of the social scientific journals The American Psychologist and The Journal of Social Issues.
