Alon Grinshpoon is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at echoAR.
Alon is a big-believer in augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) and is working on building the world's best 3D-first content management system (CMS) and delivery network (CDN) to help companies scale their AR/VR solutions.
Alon is a Java native-speaker with
countless hours of programming in Java, Android, Unity, C#, C and Bash. Alon loves to create AR/VR apps, GUI and graphically design applications, open-source programs and API integration alongside his experience and passion for cloud and computer communication networks.
Alon received his MSc in Computer Science from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science specializing in computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality, and human-computer interaction. Alon wrote his thesis on an Augmented Reality Guidance System for Endovascular Surgery advised by Prof. Steven K. Feiner.
Alon received his BSc as a double major in Computer Science and Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University specializing in software engineering, computer networks, and cyber-security.
During his studies, Alon served as a graduate researcher at the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Laboratory of Columbia University. Alon also served as a research assistant and teaching assistant in the fields of computer networks and distributed cloud.
