Ammar holds a PhD in Earth Sciences from MIT and is a graduate of the EASDE Leadership Executive Program and MiSK 2030 Leaders Program. He is the author of more than 20 patents and has served as principal investigator of awarded U.S. federal research grants. His work is backed by multiple national initiatives including the National Transformation
Program and has been featured in CNN, New Scientist, Al Arabiya, Inc. Arabia, and other regional and international platforms.
Ammar pioneered geothermal cooling for industrial and commercial applications across the MENA region. His current focus is scaling high-efficiency geothermal cooling for AI infrastructure, data centers and large-scale industrial systems, while advancing natural hydrogen and subsurface renewable energy technologies. He previously co-founded multiple deep-tech startups and served as Managing Partner of Oasis Capital, a venture capital fund investing in U.S.-based companies, before dedicating his focus to Strataphy. He also worked as a Data Scientist at Virgin Hyperloop.
Ammar serves as a Member of the Saudi Leadership Society, combining deep technical expertise with executive leadership to advance clean-energy innovation.
