From a stint in space camp as a young girl, to building President Obama's Gen44 fundraising team from the ground up, and finally, to a tenure on Wall Street as a corporate litigator, Amy Nelson has been deep in the trenches of redefining the place for women in politics, in the workplace, and our communities. While pregnant with her second
child, Amy started to sketch out a bold idea: Places designed for women, wherever they are in their careers, to find a community of support, a professional network, the business resources to invite ambition, and amenities steeped in wellness. In 2017, she launched The Riveter, female-forward workspaces and an online community platform, in Seattle with a flagship space in Capitol Hill and a second in Fremont. The brand expands into Los Angeles and additional cities in 2018 and beyond.
