Andres Pesce is a Civil Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica and Master in Business Administration from Universidad L. Bocconi in Milan. Prior to FCh Andrés had experience in consulting, asset management and business development in companies such as Mckinsey, Moneda, Compass and Finmeccanica (Quadrics) in Chile, Italy and
England.
In his 8 years in FCh, Andrés has overseen the management of the organization’s portfolio companies, leading the implementation of +20 deals, including the creation and exit of companies such as Solar Chile, Axon Axis and mRisk. He has served as chairman of several startups such as Solar Chile, mRisk, and GCL, and as board member of several others. He managed Fundación Chile’s Investment Fund and founded EmprendeFCh, an entrepreneurship platform which has supported +60 start-ups with seed capital in the last 4 years.
Andrés currently leads the Open Innovation Platform in Mining and has recently been appointed as VP of Sustainability in FCh. A former national rugby team member, Andrés is today is a coach and director of his rugby club.
