As the founder and CEO of Tankfarm, Andrew Heaney is leading a tech-enabled propane distribution platform that leverages proprietary software and tank monitors to optimize deliveries, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. He has over six years of experience in building and scaling Tankfarm, which now has a supplier network across 36
states and over 400 locations.
Andrew is passionate about reducing the environmental impact of carbon-based heating fuels. He established Tankfarm as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation with the goal of offsetting 100% of its customers' propane usage with high-quality carbon credits. He also empowers propane users to monitor and manage their consumption through Tankfarm's platform. Andrew has a strong background in the heating oil industry, having served as the president of Heat USA for 18 years, where he grew it into the largest heating oil aggregator in the US. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in History from Yale University.
