Andrew Macey is the VP and Group Client Partner at EPAM Systems. Andrew has 25 years of management experience in more than 30 acquisitions, start-ups, and major initiatives with both small and large companies including Fidelity, PetSmart, Dell, Mattel, Staples, P&G, GE, Tesco, Kimberly Clark, and Royal Ahold.
Andrew currently leads digital
strategy for Sapient (www.sapient.com, 8,500 employees), recently ranked #1 by Forrester and #2 by Advertising Age, where he leads client work in forward thinking, practical investment decisions, and execution for marketing, merchandising, and commerce.
Andrew also serves on the global board of the MIT Enterprise Forum, a global community of 90,000 in 27 international chapters; and is on the board of The Jericho Road Project, an umbrella non-profit which matches professional service volunteers with over 200 other non-profit organizations.
Andrew is a judge for MassChallenge, the MIT Sloan School $100K competition, and the HBS business plan competition, and is an active member of the CommonAngels investment group (www.commonangels.com).
Prior roles included COO of product design firm HLB; VP sales for software firm OATSystems; VP and MD Europe for Formation Systems; and SVP operations and business development for manufacturer American White Cross, creators of the first cartoon-character bandages, where he and his team helped triple the company to just under $100MM in four years.
Andrew originally began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company, where he led US and European work on go-to-market strategies, operational improvement, M&A, and corporate strategy for several Fortune 100 companies.
Andrew received his AB from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
