Andy has lived most of his life in Colorado. A veteran of the US Army where he served 3 years as a Cavalry Scout in the 3rd Infantry Division, Andy used his GI Bill to fund a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Southern Colorado (now known as CSU Pueblo). He is a Project Management Professional and has worked
as an Industrial Engineer, Program Manager, and Project Portfolio Manager for many companies including Sun Microsystems, Jeppesen, and Electronic Warfare Associates. He is also a life-long entrepreneur, and the call to a new opportunity in the medical marijuana industry was too loud to ignore. Andy and his brother Pete launched Medicine Man Denver in December of 2009 with the concept of being the high-quality, low-cost provider of medical marijuana, but also with an agenda of giving back to the community. They have succeeded. Currently, Medicine Man Denver employs 48 associates, donates to several Colorado charities, sponsors a local youth sports team, and is an industry leader in both the medical and recreational marijuana markets.
