Mr. Anthony Grillo, also known as Tony, CPA, is a Managing Director at American Securities. Mr. Grillo served as Managing Director and Founder at Evercore’s Restructuring Practice from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Grillo served as a Senior Managing Director at JLL Partners. He served as a Senior Managing Director and Partner at Joseph Littlejohn & Levy from January 1999 to March 2001. From March 1991 to December 1998, Mr. Grillo served as Senior Managing Director and Partner at The Blackstone Group, L.P. where he was involved with Blackstone's Private Equity, Restructuring and Mergers practices. He has been a Director of Littelfuse Inc. since December 1, 1991 and BAE Systems Integrated Defense Solutions, Inc. since December 1991. He has been Director of Lancer Industries, Inc. since April 1999. He serves as a Director of Garden Way, Inc., New World Pasta Company, Safeguard Business Systems, Peoples Choice TV Corp. and of Silicon Graphics, Inc. Mr. Grillo served as a Director of Iasis Healthcare Corp.'s joining it in October 1999. His career has been focused on the distressed corporate arena either as an Advisor or an Investor. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Grillo holds an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers College as a Henry Rutgers Scholar in 1976.
