Arild co-founded Fjord in 2007, continuing his career as a successful entrepreneur and investor in the fields of shipping, automotive, real estate and services. During this time Arild founded, acquired, developed and exited more than 100 companies in Scandinavia, Europe, North America, the former Soviet Union, Middle East, Africa and South East
Asia.
Arild began his career at the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) where he worked on ship financing and was responsible for setting up the bank’s first Scandinavian office in Oslo.
In addition to his Fjord role, Arild is currently serving as a Board Member of Carbon Limits AS, Norway.
Arild holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
